Tad Tad

Tad, a black and white boy adopted from Chestnut Cat SanctuaryCarol Rogers sent us a great email with some pics of Tad, adopted in October 2008, along with a letter from the boy himself!

I would like to say thank you to all the staff who do an amazing job at the Sanctuary. We adopted a 1 year old male cat last year, 4th October 2008 and this is his story.

"Hello to all the staff who helped to care for me whilst I was at the centre. I now have a new very loving family who have given me the name Tad (they call me Tad Tad).

Tad, a black and white boy adopted from Chestnut Cat SanctuaryI arrived at the sanctuary on 16th September 2008 from a multi cat household in East London, with no name and had to be in a pen with 2 kittens as I cried at night. I was adopted by Carol and Neil on 4th October 2008.

I arrived at my new home on the saturday afternoon and was eager to meet Toby (3 year old male cat already in the home)and explore my new home by the Sunday night.

I have also met a friend from 2 doors down, Iggy (male 1 year old) and my owners come home to find all 3 of us curled up.

Tad and Toby relaxing togetherBoth carol and Neil say they are blessed with me as I am well behaved, get on with Toby and love to be close to them; I also love to play with my toys and Carol and Neil are more then happy to entertain me as I make them laugh when I jump into the air to release my bundles of energy.

I am very happy in my new home as I get spoilt, have my friends but also have my own space if i need it.

Tad posing!Thank you for letting me be re-homed with Carol and Neil. Pictures are attached of me and one of me with Toby."

I would just like to add it has been a wonderful experience for me and I could not have asked for a better cat. Thank you for this opportunity for my husband and I to give such a loving cat a second chance in life.

Carol Rogers

Thanks Carol (and Tad) for your email and photos!
