Saffy cat

Saffy, a talkative ginger girlJackie wrote to us in April to tell us how she's getting on with Saffy, a lovely ginger girl...

I thought I'd let you know how Saffy was getting on. She was only at the centre for a very short time, and when we came to look we were originally going to adopt a black cat, but she was just too cute to ignore.

Saffy, a talkative ginger girlAnyway, after we got home Saffy decided there was no way she was going to stay in one room and broke out to explore the house in about 10 minutes. And has been exploring ever since!

Saffy came with her blanket and pillow, but only used them for the first couple of days. Now she likes to sleep on the footstool next to the window to make sure the garden is a cat-free zone.

Saffy, a talkative ginger girlShe has a real character, full of love and only stops talking when she's asleep. Wherever you are Saffy is, she has to see you off in the morning and waits by the door to welcome you back in the evening.

When I come home for lunch the first thing we have to do is have a cuddle and then I can eat.

Saffy is now able to remove the lid from the treats and sneaks them when you're not looking.

She always wants to play and can be heard at 4 in the morning excitedly chasing her three balls round the kitchen -  definitely more fun than the scratching post!

Saffy, a talkative ginger girlI would like to take this opportunity to thank you for letting us adopt her - she is gorgeous.

Jackie

It's lovely to hear that you're getting on so well - thanks Jackie for your letter and photos!
