Patch - laps are for older cats!

Patch, a lovely older cat adopted from Chestnut Cat Sanctuary in EssexWe had a lovely email and some photos from Carol, who recently adopted one of our older and longer-term residents - Patch!

Hello!

I thought I'd leave it a week before sending an email, to let Patch settle in a bit.

Like most cats, Patch enjoys almost having her photo takenShe seems to be settling in well. She wasn't eating very much at first but she's definitely over that now, and she's eating well.

She seems settled and happy, she still loves her igloo and she doesn't approve of laptops (laps are for cats, not computers!).

Most of all, Patch likes sleeping!Nor does she think much of people going out to work, although it does give her a chance to get some rest because all this sitting on laps is hard work!

She follows me around, and she gets out of bed to say hello when I get home from work which is nice.

She's also discovered the fish tank She spends a while watching them every so often. Im sure she's just making sure they're healthy... ;¬)

Patch is 16 but still very loving and alertI hope you like the photos. They're not the best but she's so curious about everything as soon as I get the camera out she comes to see what I'm doing! :)

Carol

It's great to hear how Patch is getting along - thanks for your message!
