A "purrfect new addition" - Basil!

Basil, a real character happily adopted from Chestnut Cat Sanctuary in EssexWe had a nice email from Amy and Neil about Basil, a cat adopted recently from Chestnut Cat Sanctuary and - by the sounds of it - quite a character!

We thought you would like to see and hear from Basil. We adopted him from you on 5th April 2008 and after a restless first night (not much sleep to be got by anyone!) he has settled right in.

Basil having a hard time settling in... not!As you can see he provides us with endless photo opportunities and amusement! He's definitely an outdoor cat and tells us at 5am every morning that he is looking forward to having his cat flap fitted on 10 May!

Basil - the "purrfect new addition" for his new ownersHe's a messy eater and not so keen on the fishy flavours - he likes his chicken!

I've had fun over the last week or so trying to work out where he'd sprayed. It was as a last resort I investigated Neil's slippers and sure enough Basil thought he could make them smell better himself!!!!

We are very glad we came to see you and found our purrfect new addition. We really appreciate the care you gave him and all the information and guidance you have given us since - I'm sure we will be in touch again soon.

Best wishes

Amy, Neil and Basil

Thanks to you all  - it's always great to hear about happy cats and happy owners!
