Alfie from Welwyn

Alfie, a one year old boy adopted from Chestnut Cat SanctuaryPat Ford wrote to us to pass on a letter from Alfie, a one year old boy adopted from us earlier in the year...

Hi Everyone

My name is Alfie and I am one years old and was adopted at the end of february2009 by Pat and Albert. I had to learn to use a catflap so I can go in and out all day long and don't need use that silly tray now that I am a big boy.

Alfie, a one year old boy adopted from Chestnut Cat SanctuaryI love my food and my favourite days are when all the doors are open and they are going gardening and I can dig holes and run about with twigs and things and chase anything that moves.

I sometimes bring them in live toads and I think they like them because they give me a pat but put them straight back out again where I can't find them, funny that?

Alfie, a one year old boy adopted from Chestnut Cat SanctuaryI have chased off a few cats and a fox that have tried to use my garden as a short cut,I  showed them my big bushy tail, and did they shift!!!

Anyway just to let you know that I am doing fine and I love my new home. Got to dash now as one of them is opening a tin of tuna for their lunch and if I am quick I might get some.

With Love

ALFIE XXX

Thanks Alfie (and Pat) for your letter and photos!
